In anticipation of the new Pyro Update this week for Team Fortress 2, Valve has placed the update website online for everyone to checkout. The newly launched website features information on the two new maps to be released, the unlockable weapons for the pyro, and the long list of achievements that will now be available for pyro players. All of these features will be released later this week in the update.
The two new maps that will be featured are CP_Fastlane and CP_Turbine. Both maps may be familiar to you, as they were developed by third party players and have been circling the internet for quite sometime. None the less, their addition to the official map list will surely increase their popularity.
On top of the new maps, players who choose the pyro class will also be able to unlock several new weapons in the game. They include a new flaregun, backburner flame thrower, and axtinguisher attack axe. There will also be a slew of new achievements, all of which can be seen on the new
Pyro Update Website.
